An alumnus of Ram Krishan Mission Vidyapeeth, Deoghar, in Jharkhand, a Science Graduate, Shri Dhiraj Kumar joined the largest Para Military Force, CRPF as an Assistant Commandant in 1992. During his last more than 25 years of distinguished service to the nation, he has served in the insurgency affected states of Manipur, Mizoram, Assam and Tripura and then in militancy hit Punjab. He remained deployed in the maoist affected states of Jharkhand, Bihar and Chhattisgarh. He also served for United Nations in Kosovo as a CIVPOL during 2000-2001 for which he was awarded United Nation Peace Medal. He served as commandant training at the prestigious CRPF Academy, Gurugram from 2011 to 2014. The crowning moment of his career was his stint in the highly sensitive Bijapur District of Chhattisgarh as DIG (Operations) where he had contributed immensely in the anti-naxal operations. Due to his vast operational experience, he was chosen as DIG (Operations) in the CRPF Headquarters Delhi during 2017 and he is still serving as DIG (Operations). During his career, besides United Nation Peace Medal, he has been decorated with various other medals.

Demetrio López Molina, Spanish, born in Madrid in 1962, he obtained his MSc in Telecommunication Engineer at the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid. During more than 30 years, he has accumulated a wide experience in management of research and innovation projects being responsible of most R&D projects of ALTER TECHNOLGY in the frame of European Space Agency and European Commission as well of direct manager of the Photonic & New Technologies department business unit.

Since January 2019, Demetrio López has taken a new responsibility in the company as leader of the Technology and Business development department and hence focused to expand capabilities far beyond classical space market. As leader of most of the R&D project in the company, I am pretty much convinced of team business as well of cooperation with research partners enterprises to expand technological capabilities and to ensure competitive advantage in the marketplace.

A Lieutenant Colonel of the Spanish Air Force since 2008, he is a Staff Graduate from the Higher Defence School of the Spanish Armed Forces. He holds a Masters Degree in Terrorism and CounterTerrorism and he is currently a PhD Candidate at the Complutense University of Madrid in International Law. Lt. Col. De Ágreda is a transport pilot with 4,000+ flight hours and a paratrooper, a former leader of the Spanish National Parachuting Team and the Spanish Air Force's Acrobatic Parachuting Patrol (PAPEA) with well over 600 jumps. His current position is as the Head of the Cooperation Branch (C9) at the Spanish Joint CyberCommand´s Staff. A former Professor of the Higher Defense School of the Spanish Armed Forces (CESEDEN), he regularly lectures in Universities and military centres worldwide. He has also served as geopolitical analyst at the Spanish Ministry of Defense. His preferred topics range from Energy and Environmental Security to Cybersecurity and the Global Commons. He has published circa one hundred articles, papers and book chapters in both English and Spanish. Lt. Col. De Ágreda has served tours of duty in Afghanistan, the Former Republic of Yugoslavia (twice) and the Sahel. Ha has also attended a number of courses both inside and outside Spain. He is a Flight Safety specialist and a Logistician. He is fluent in English, Italian and French.

Lieutenant Colonel Arnel P. David is a Distinguished Military Graduate of Valley Forge Military College’s ROTC Early Commissioning Program. He was commissioned a Second Lieutenant into the Florida Army National Guard.

In 2000, LTC David completed the Signal Officer’s Basic Course and entered active duty. After company command in the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) he transitioned to Fort Bragg, NC to complete the US Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School Civil Affairs Qualification and Regional Analysis Course. He has completed a variety of mediation, evasive driving, negotiation, surveillance detection, and other special operations and interagency training courses.

An alumnus of National Defence Academy (NDA) Kharakwasla and Defence Services Staff College (DSSC) Wellington, Capt Parmar was commissioned into the Indian Navy on 01 Jul 87. The officer is a Seaking pilot who has commanded INS Bedi, INS Sharda and INAS 330. He was member of the XI Indian Antarctic Summer Expedition in 1991 and has attended the South Asia Regional Governance and Management Defence Course Conducted by the British Government at Colombo in 2005. He represented the Indian Navy in the first international HOSTAC (helicopter operations from ships other than aircraft carriers) conference held at Norfolk, USA in 2008. He has served as Joint Director Naval Plans in Directorate of Naval Planning at IHQ MoD (Navy) and also been Directing Staff at Defence Services Staff College (DSSC), Wellington. As a Research Fellow at the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA), New Delhi from Sep 2010 to July 2014 he has written on maritime security aspects and presented papers at various national and international conferences. Post IDSA he was Director (Strategy) in the Directorate of Strategy Concepts and Transformation at IHQ MoD (Navy) from Jul 2014 to Apr 2016, where as part of the core team revised Indian Navy’s unclassified maritime security strategy document and doctrine. From Apr 2016 to Apr 2018 as Director Strategic Maritime Assessment and Doctrine Development carried out regional maritime assessments and completed the doctrine development plan. He has written extensively on maritime security issues and is pursuing PhD at Mumbai University. He was a Senior Fellow at National Maritime Foundation from April 2018 to June 2019. On 04 June 2019 he took over as the Executive Director NMF.

Commodore Anil Jai Singh, presently the Vice President of the Indian Maritime Foundation, India’s leading NGO in the maritime domain, took early retirement from the Indian Navy in March 2011 after serving as a submariner for three decades. He had the distinction of commanding four submarines and also a Fleet ship thereafter. Ashore, he served in Naval Plans and Submarine Acquisition and was also a senior Directing Staff at the Naval War College. A diplomatic assignment as India’s Defence Adviser in London followed and his last appointment was as the Deputy Assistant Chief (Maritime) in perspective planning of the Integrated defence Staff in the MoD.

A post graduate in Defence and Strategic Studies, he takes keen interest in matters maritime and speaks and writes on the subject extensively in India and abroad.

Mr. Vijay Kalantri, an eminent and versatile business leader, is a first generation entrepreneur who has made remarkable contribution to Industry & Trade Promotion, Infrastructure Development, Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Sector, Financial Services and Globalization of Indian Business. His work with the central and state governments of India to promote trade and commerce is only matched by his contributions to leading International business organizations such as the World Trade Organization (WTO), UN International Labor Organization (ILO) and UNIDO-India Industries Council.

Currently, he also serves as the Chairman & Managing Director of Dighi Port Ltd, Maharashtra’s first private sector port and port-based Special Economic Zone (SEZ). Mr. Kalantri is also the President of All India Association of Industries (AIAI), the Indian Council of Foreign Trade and the Indo-Polish Chamber of Commerce & Industry, besides serving as the Vice Chairman of World Trade Centre (WTC) Mumbai and as a member of the Board of Directors of World Trade Centers’ Association (WTCA), New York. He also serves as a member on several committees of the Reserve Bank of India, such as the Standing Committee for Small Scale Industries, the Exchange Control Committee, and the All India Export Advisory Committee.

As President of All India Association of Industries (AIAI), Mr. Kalantri has always represented the cause of industries to the respective central and state governments and tirelessly worked to create unique solutions. As the Vice-Chairman of WTC Mumbai, he has painstakingly worked to make the institution the premier trade promotion body in the nation.

Prakash C Tripathi is the founder President of the Defense and Strategic Industries Association of India .A graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology , Delhi, India , he last served as Joint Director General of Foreign Trade in the Government of India. He has decade long experience in designing national export control systems and policies to promote high technology commerce, technology transfer and foreign direct investment services in dual-use technologies.

Admiral Sunil Lanba assumed command of the Indian Navy, as the 23rd Chief of the Naval Staff, on 31 May 16. He was appointed Chairman, Chiefs of Staff Committee on 31 December 2016.

Admiral Lanba is a specialist in Navigation and Aircraft Direction and has served as the navigation and operations officer aboard several ships in both the Eastern and Western Fleets of the Indian Navy. He has nearly four decades of naval experience, which includes tenures at sea and ashore, the latter in various headquarters, operational and training establishments, as also tri-Service institutions. His sea tenures include the command of INS Kakinada, a specialized Mine Countermeasures Vessel, INS Himgiri, an indigenous Leander Class Frigate, INS Ranvijay, a Kashin Class Destroyer, and, INS Mumbai, an indigenous Delhi Class Destroyer. He has also been the Executive Officer of the aircraft carrier, INS Viraat and the Fleet Operations Officer of the Western Fleet.

On elevation to Flag rank, Admiral Lanba tenanted several significant assignments in the Navy. As the Chief of Staff of the Southern Naval Command, he was responsible for the transformation of the training methodology for the future Indian Navy. The Admiral was thereafter appointed Flag Officer Sea Training and ushered a whole slew of measures to greatly enhance the battle effectiveness of Indian warships, and rationalized their combat manning. Later, as the Flag Officer Commanding Maharashtra and Gujarat Naval Area, he implemented significant coastal security initiatives and multiagency coordination mechanisms, which have since ensured safe seas and secure coasts along India’s western seaboard.

As a Vice Admiral, he has been the Chief of Staff of the Eastern Naval Command, and, thereafter, took over as the Commandant of the prestigious National Defence College, New Delhi. Upon his appointment as the Vice Chief of the Naval Staff, the Admiral streamlined the framework for transformation of the Navy’s combat capabilities and infrastructure development. The several tri-Service initiatives that he launched have made a lasting contribution towards integration and jointness.

For his exceptional services to the nation, the President of the Republic of India has first awarded Admiral Lanba the Ati Vishist Seva Medal and then the the Param Vishist Seva Medal. He is also the Honorary Aide-de-Camp to the President. 0n 07 June 2019, He took over as the Chairman of National maritime Foundation, New Delhi.

Commodore MP Anil Kumar was commissioned into the Executive Branch of the Indian Navy in July 1988 and is a specialist in Communications and Electronic Warfare. He held appointment as Signal Communications Officer of four fleet ships, Executive Officer of three ships and Commanded IN Ships Ajay, Gharial, Rajput and Ranjit

Cmde Anil Kumar holds MPhil and MSc degrees in Defence and Strategic Studies, MSc degree in Telecommunications, PG Diploma in Software Technology and relevant certifications in INFOSEC subjects.

Cmde Anil Kumar has been heading the Directorate of Information Warfare since May 2014 and is also presently the Chief Information Security Officer (Navy).

Dr. U. Chandrasekhar, is a researcher and an academician with extensive insights in aero gas turbine engines and additive manufacturing. After his early education in NIT Suratkal and IIT, Madras he worked in DRDO in various capacities rising to the rank of Additional Director – GTRE & Scientist G.

During his stint at DRDO (1986-2013), he led two national projects in the areas of rapid prototyping and thin film sensors as the Project Director. He set up India’s first-ever Additive Manufacturing Laboratory at GTRE in 1997 and carried out several projects related to rapid prototyping of aero systems. In 2011, he led a large group of scientists in flight testing of a turbojet engine at the Central Institute of Aviation Motors, Moscow.

For his contribution in the field of additive manufacturing, he received a commendation medal from the ministry of defence. He received a Gold Medal from Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam for his academic performance at IIT Madras.

During 2013-2015, he served the Institution of Engineers (India) as the Secretary & Director General and fostered several teaching-learning methods based on 3D printing. Subsequently he worked as a visiting professor in IIT Bombay. He completed an international collaboration project with Victoria University, Canada in structural health monitoring using drones.

He delivered keynote talks as the expert speaker in several international platforms and was invited by the Taiwan University President’s Forum to represent India in South Asian summit SATU-2018. Currently he is the Program Director in Wipro 3D with overall focus on capacity building and enterprise-adoption of metal additive manufacturing.

He is on the editorial board of the Internal Journal of Rapid Prototyping and also the Springer Journal for Mechanical Engineering. He mentors a few startups in 3DP in a DST supported IEDC.
